Pawsitive Impact: $5,000 for Veterans Service Dogs

We are proud to announce a $5,000 donation
to the WNY Heroes Pawsitive for Heroes Program, dedicated to training
and providing service dogs to veterans.

This funding was made possible through a community enrichment grant from our Visa
program. WNY Heroes, along with their Pawsitive for Heroes Program, offers extensive
training for service dogs and matches them with veterans across the country. Additionally,
the program covers veterinary care and food for these service dogs.

“We are honored to assist WNY Heroes in their mission to support those who have served
our country. We are grateful for their dedication and service,” said Marie T. Betti, CEO of
Western New York Federal Credit Union. “Meeting two of their service dog graduates,
Smoky and Lucky, was a truly wonderful experience.”
Joining Marie to give Smoky, Lucky, and their handlers a warm welcome were Assistant
Manager Kelly Pfeiffer and Lending Supervisor Marie Lafferty.
